From Fermenting To Finance

And family! Life hacks I wish I knew sooner that might just help you.

Mount Airy Forest spans a huge area of town! I was shocked to learn that the Doris Day Dog Park is considered the same forest as the stone steps loop (these are no where near hiking distance of each other)!

Brink runners proudly pose after a trek up the stone steps

Location:

Meet at the “Oval”, just past “Everybody’s Tree House.”

Map directions:

39°10’21.8″N 84°34’06.6″W

Distance:

5 miles

Expect to be out on the trails for around an hour and a half.

Park details:

Dogs allowed in most areas except arboretum, so pay attention to signage.

Fairly technical but beautiful trails. The big loop goes UP two of Cincy’s most famous trail spots: the Stone Steps and Gummy Bear Hill.

After the run recommendations:

Grab a delicious brunch and morning-friendly cocktail at Melt Revival in Northside.

Another great option is the Comet for Bloody Marys, however they don’t open on Sundays until 11am.
