From Fermenting To Finance

And family! Life hacks I wish I knew sooner that might just help you.

The trail runs along the Little Miami River where you can admire a plethora of wildlife.

And it’s no wonder why the outer perimeter trail is named the Birder’s Loop… During a visit in December our running group observed the following within an hour span:

  • juvenile bald eagles
  • belted kingfisher
  • a “Woody the Woodpecker” pileated woodpecker
  • red-shouldered hawk making a splash while swooping at a group of mallards on the water
  • one red-bellied woodpecker
  • one brown creeper
  • and bunches of Cardinals and chickadees.

This is a Clermont County Park located on the East side of Cincinnati in the Miamiville, OH neighborhood.

Distance:

2 mile outer perimeter with various connectors, one of which runs through a meadow.

By combining the loop with connectors, if you run the loop twice, you can get close to a total of 5 miles.

Park Details:

42 acres of hiking trails, part of the Clermont Park District.

Dogs are allowed.

This park also has canoe access to the Little Miami River.
